JUNIOR – (6/4 absent)

1st – Boyle’s Barrenclough Golden Gem – 16 month sable bitch of sweet expression, well tipped ears slightly wider than desired, good front angulation and body shape, well let down hocks, moved okay. 

2nd – Farthing’s Ladnar One More Time for Didek – 16 month Tri colour bitch, nice head, good neck and body shape and good length of tail, very weak front and rear pasterns which cost her the class.

POST GRADUATE – (6/5 absent)

1st – Boyle’s Barrenclough Golden Gem

OPEN – (5/3 absent)

1st – Scott’s Aniesh Portrait in Blue – Blue Merle dog of almost 4 years, nice head although would prefer not so deep through, good front and rear angulations, tail slightly short, did not want to use ears but used enough.  Moved okay but standing handler needs to watch back legs.  BOB

2nd – Boyle’s Barrenclough Moon River – 8 month Sable bitch puppy with sweet expression, needs to strengthen in back legs cow hocked and did not move well.  BP & Group 4

SHETLAND SHEEPDOG

JUNIOR (4/0 absent)

1st – Durn’s Felthorn Forester – 6 month tri colour dog puppy, lovely foreface and expression, ears bang on top and correct, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, good chest, pleasing overall shape and good length of tail, moved well, a very promising youngster who pushed hard for BOB, will watch this young man with interest, was pleased to award him BP at his very first show. BP

2nd –  Clubley’s Mossvale Frosty Moon

3rd – Fuller’s Jacanshe April Showers

POST GRADUATE (5/2 absent)

1st – Deveson’s Lucky Liason at Lianbray – dark shaded sable Bitch of almost 3 years who left her clothes at home but nevertheless could not be denied.  Fabulous head and expression, well set ears, good body shape although I would prefer more neck, moved well, lovely length of tail. BOB

2nd – Clubley’s Mossvale Misty Dawn

3rd – Saunder’s Dunbrae Bond’s Wish of Gold for Fernfrey
