29TH JULY 2018 – LEEDS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
Leeds Championship Show this year fell on my birthday and although awful weather, we had a lovely day with our new Smooth Collie puppy, Eton (Jack Mack’s va Buidhinn of Shandlmain) co-owned with Brenda Trundley (Juniperwood) who won in strong company Puppy Dog and was Best Puppy Dog in Breed under Breed Specialist Mrs Jan Starkey.
5TH AUGUST 2018 – EAST ANGLIAN COLLIE ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
The following weekend was EACA Championship show where we took Eton long again and the weather was glorious, Eton won Junior Class and then went on to win Reserve Best Dog in Breed, Best Minor Puppy and Best Puppy in Breed and then to top off a fantastic day also won top honours with Best Puppy in Show beating a lovely Rough Collie Puppy. Many thanks to Breed Judge Natalia Skalin and Best in Show Judge Mrs Pat Hutchinson.
1ST SEPTEMBER 2018 – SMOOTH COLLIE CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
combined with BIRMINGHAM CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW and another really great day with Eton winning Best Minor Puppy Dog in Show at SCCGB and winning a strong Puppy Dog Class and Best Puppy Dog at Birmingham Ch Show. Many thanks to Judge Val Geddes (Ingledene) for the lovely award of BMPIS at SCCGB and Jill Peake for Best Puppy Dog at Birmingham.

16TH SEPTEMBER 2018 – SHERINGHAM OPEN SHOW
Eton did us proud again today winning the Puppy Class, Best Puppy in Breed and then beng placed 3rd in Pastoral Puppy Group! We also took Tien (Jack Mack’s Hefin Huw) along for the day out not expecting anything as Tien has not been shown for a long time now and were really pleased that Tien won a strong Open Class and then Reserve Best of Breed! Lovely show and lovely day out, thank you to Breed Specialist Judge Emily Benelmans.
23RD SEPTEMBER 2018 – WEST OF ENGLAND COLLIE SOCIETY OPEN SHOW
We travelled down and stayed overnight for this Show being a 4-5 hour journey each way, was pleased to be rewarded with 1st Puppy Dog, Best Puppy Dog in Breed, Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best Puppy in Show. Breed Judge Amy Kinsey.
18TH NOVEMBER 2018 – LONDON & PROVINCIAL COLLIE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
Eton today was placed 1st Puppy Dog and Best Dog in Breed, then in the final Challenge for Best of Breed was awarded Reserve Best of Breed, Best Opposite Sex in Breed and Best Puppy in Breed and finally Reserve Best Puppy in Show. 17TH DECEMBER 2018 – ETON (JACK MACK’S VA BUIDHINN OF SHANDLMAIN) has successfully mated ALICE (SUMMER SHADOWS SHANDLMAIN) today with a 25 minute tie. We await to see if Alice will conceive, hopefully puppies will be due February 2019.
19TH DECEMBER 2018 – ETON (JACK MACK’S VA BUIDHINN OF SHANDLMAIN) has successfully mated TIEN (JACK MACK’S HEFIN HUW) today and the follwing two days after also. We await to see if Tien will conceive hopefully puppies due February 2019 also.
