After having to take a forced break due to my having a heart attack on 31st July 2022 and having a coronary angioplasty and a stent fitted on 4th August 2022, we have attended a few shows just to show I am still alive (we know how incorrect rumours can be spread) but have not achieved anything to write home about due to myself not being able to move the dogs and although I am very grateful to those that have moved them for me. Today at British Collie Club Open Show however, Arya won 1st Open Bitch, Best Bitch, Best of Breed Smooth Collie and then Reserve Best in Show. Very happy. Unfortunately another Exhibitor ruined our day by saying we had been robbed as one of the co-judges was not qualified to judge Best in Show jointly with the other judge, so Best in Show was not judged fairly. I refused to make an official complaint as suggested but wrote a letter asking that in future the Judges are selected that are qualified so that future exhibitors do not have their day ruined as ours was.
