1st – Hills Devern Cascade of Stars – Blue Merle Bitch of good colour just rising 4 years old, would prefer fuller fill of foreface, nice eye placement of good shape, good stop, ears a little light, good crest and length of neck falling in to well laid back shoulders, excellent front angulation and good chest, good length of back with well set tail of good length, excellent rear angulation and movement which won the class for her.

2nd – Kennedy’s Rycombe Deb’n Air – 3 year old Sable Dog of good size, good foreface and underjaw, nice eye shape, well placed stop, nice neat ears, good length of neck, more upright in shoulder and upper arm than 1, good length of back and tail, not as sound on the move as 1.

OPEN (2/0 absent)

1st – Lister’s Manordeifi Miss Daisy Newarp JW – 3 year old Tri Colour bitch with blackest of coats and sparkling whites giving an outline of a wonderful silhouette of a Smooth Collie.  Good foreface with well placed correct stop, would prefer ears slightly more on top but does not detract from overall quality.  Fabulous length of neck set in well laid back shoulders, correct length of upper arm, excellent chest allowing good forward reach, good length of body with slight rise to loin and nicely shaped croup, tail of excellent length.  Powerful rear hocks giving drive on the move.  BOB and pleased to watch her go Pastoral Group 4.

2nd – Hill’s Devern Denmam – Nice tri colour dog of nearly 4 years, lovely head with well placed correct stop and excellent eye shape, well set ears, good length of neck, nice front and rear angulation but preferred chest of 1.  Good length of back and tail.  Good movement but not the drive of 1 on the day.
